IBM Visual Recognition

This plugin plugin uses the official API released from IBM Cloud – Bluemix services.

Primary Features

IBM Visual Recognition plugin sends documents and/or forms (image files such as PDF) to IBM Cloud Watson Visual Recognition engine and returns description and findings by IBM’s Watson Computer Vision as it “sees” the image.  The response will be in text format with confidence levels of each finding.

Prerequisite

  • Users require signing up with IBM Cloud service. User must create IBM Visual Recognition resources and obtain API Key.

How to create resources and obtain API Key from IBM Cloud – Bluemix.

  1. Visit https://cloud.ibm.com/login

  2. Click [Create Resource] on Dashboard.
      
         

3. Select your service and click (in this case Visual Recognition).  


4. Press 'Create'.


5. Click 'Service Credentials'.


6. Check the resource you just created and click 'View Credential'.


7. Your API Key is here.
