Q. STU and PAM give “cannot access server” error message at my company PC
A. ARGOS Solution has 8 resource servers including ARGSO Supervisor running on AWS.
This can present a problem depending on the security policy of the customer when STU/PAM are installed on a PC (including VM) inside customers’ firewall. Often, access to AWS are blocked and STU/PAM cannot find ARGOS Low-code servers.
We ask to allow HTTP/HTTPS and open ports 80/TCP and 443/TCP.
However, we have seen issues even when customer allows the protocols above. ARGOS Supervisor and other servers still cannot connect with STU/PAM. This is mainly because AWS deploy the ‘dynamic IP address” scheme.
In these cases, below are your two options
1) Ask for On-Prem setup (For certain business size projects, ARGOS LABS provide full On-Premises setup)

Note that ARGOS Labs can provide temporary in-house static IP addresses for POC/POV.
