Title:  Installation/upgrade problem. STU/PAM installation/upgrade may get blocked by your AntiVirus software

Q.  I am having problems installing or upgrading STU/PAM. What should I do?

A. The blockage may be coming from your AntiVirus software - We have received reports like below.

• Issue: STU/PAM installation fails

• Root Cause

1.  Real time Anti-Virus monitoring by “ALYac”  (“AlYac” is one of the free AV s/w used in Korea.)

2.  The file moving process fails while “ALYac” is scanning the downloaded files for upgrade.
   "ALYac" seems to block the file access of the Update Launcher until the scan is completed,
   but the Update Launcher execution is terminated at the moment when file access is blocked.

• Workaround

1.  Turn off “real time Anti-Virus monitoring” feature of “ALYac”during upgrade.

2.  or, Terminate “AlYac” for upgrade
